9 years ago, I didn't know what to expect. Well, this is the
best $75.00 I have ever spend. I received about 75 responses
to my add from mostly Filipina women and the decision was

I decided to take the chance and actually post
an ad and she was
actually the second to reply but I did not actually get to
reply to my
reply for about two weeks from the original contact. We then
started to
message each other every night for about 3 weeks till the
hours of typing
led us to prefer to use the telephone to communicate this
went on about 2
weeks till I made an off handed comment about getting something
to eat and
she said "sure when and where?" so there it was
our first In Person date.
Well truth be told we have only spent about 6 days apart since
that day
exactly two years ago today on the 15th of october we are
going to be
married. I think this online dating success was only a success
because we
both let down our reservations and preconcieved notions and
just decided to
be ourselves not worrying weather or not we would impress
or entice the
other one. The day I recieved her inital reply I had just
sowrn off dating
do to another bad "Hook up" by friends and then
I found this charming
refreshing lady online who I at the time honestly could have
cared less
weather or not I impressed or wowed her.
My advice to others trying online dating is this if you are
looking for a true honest relationship then be true and honest.
Online is
just another venue for people to meet and for some of us who
do not care for
bars, clubs, or loud nightlife gatherings we can find an equally
shy,
reserved, moralistic person online.
